Dr Krystel Skilton

Dr Krystel Skilton is Jon’s wife and the team’s hygienist and clinical coordinator.

A trained dentist, Krystel practices in both the public and private sectors in general dentistry. Having always been interested in orthodontics, she happily joined Simply Orthodontics in the earlier part of 2009, servicing both the Sydenham and Horsham branches. You will see her in the clinical area getting patients ready for Jon, taking patient photographs and impressions, and even answering phone calls. In fact, Krystel has the delightful pleasure of removing patient’s braces on their ‘deband’ day!  Having moved from Perth, W.A., where she graduated from the University of Western Australia, Krystel is STILL slowly getting used to the Melbourne weather. Be sure to ask her about the sun, the beach and the blue skies of Perth, but don’t encourage her because she’ll carry on!!
